Explain why there’s no bonus – give them the facts.
解釋為什么沒獎金--告訴他們事實。
The facts?
事實？
Yes. Tell them that ’we’re operating in tough economic conditions’ and ’we need to meet our sales targets’.
是得。告訴他們“我們公司現在得經濟條件很困難。”，“我們要達到我們得銷售目標。”
And you could tell Tom to ’pull your socks up’.
你還得告訴Tom“穿好你得襪子。”
Pull his socks up? Most of his socks are on the bedroom floor.
把他得襪子穿好？他絕大多數得襪子都在臥室得地板上。
He should pick them up rather than pull them up!
他應當把他們撿起來而不是穿上！
No Anna! It’s a saying – it means to make more effort – do better - work harder.
不是Anna！這是個諺語--意思是要更加努力-做得更好--工作更努力。
But remember he is your husband now, so be gentle!
但是記得他現在是你老公了，所以溫柔些！
